This Friday, November 26th is Dress Down Day! We will be collecting tzedakah in support of the student chosen charity Sleeping Children Around the World. Please send in a loonie or a toonie this Friday! It is also a 2:00 pm dismissal this week.
Chanukah begins this Sunday evening and we could not be more excited in SK!! Next week, OJCS will be celebrating a week of Chanukah Ruach (spirit)! Check out the flyer below to see how your child can partake in each special day!\
*Monday is Chanukah Fashion Day, so the kids can where their favourite Chanukah shirt or PJs if they would like.*
Our school is also helping with a Chanukah Toy Drive in support of ‘A Ripple Effect’ and in memory of Rabbi Bulka. We encourage you to involve your child in this mitzvah by bringing in unwrapped toys. There will be a donation bin in the lobby until Friday, December 3rd.
You have probably already heard about the new EA in the SK classroom…. we would like to officially welcome Mr. Carl (as the kids call him) to our team.
