The Kindergarten kids have spent the last few days learning all about Terry Fox and why he is a Canadian hero. We have read books, watched videos, compared superheroes and real-life heroes, and learned why Terry wanted to run across Canada. On Wednesday, both classes participated in their own Terry Fox Run!! Thankfully, the weather cooperated and we managed to get outside during a sunny period in both cases (KB even saw a beautiful rainbow!!). Our goal was to walk for 1 kilometer and even though the kids thought that would be hard, just like Terry, we took it one step at a time, we didn’t give up, and we accomplished our goal!! Kol ha’kavod!!
